Botanica is a creation of handspun signature kaftans that are created one at a time, using organic hand-spun fabric that has been dyed in natural dye baths. Each kaftan is custom created and wooden hand block printed individually.

Hand block printing or wood block printing is an old art form popular in India. This ancient printing technique utilizes a hand-carved teak wood block that is dipped in dye and stamped by hand onto the fabric. The motifs are centered around nature and life in general.  The result is truly unique, hand block printed fabric that connects us to a rich tradition and history of handmade crafts.
