This hand done block print on a base of bengal katan silk is an elegant and an extremely light weight saree. The saree has a base color of pale chikoo, or a nude blush as you would like to call it with diagonal chevron blocks in cdark chocolate, and maroon geometric prints. The palla is elaborate with just the geometric prints. This saree was inspired by a print in silk that I happened to see on actress Shaba Azmi. It promises to be a classy yet a stylish drape that flatters the body. It is accompanied by a blousepiece that matches the saree.
